Ashley Bellet is Assistant Professor of Costume Design at Purdue University and a professional costume designer and crafts artisan. She received her MFA from the University of Memphis, BAs in both Theatre and English from Sewanee, and is completing her PhD in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies from UW Madison. Ashley currently serves on the Board of Directors for USITT as VP for Commissions and was previously the Commissioner for Education. She is the Associate Editor for Education for TD&T and is active in KCACTF, SETC, ATCA, and Critical Costume. She has worked at The Santa Fe Opera, American Players Theatre, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, Theatre Memphis, Playhouse on the Square, and Potsdam Music Theatre, among others.
