Athene is a second-year graduate student in costume technology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After earning her BA in Non-Western History she accepted a position at Bethany Joy Costumes where she built costumes for award winning theater, television, and film. She is deeply interested in research pertaining to the application of developing technologies to costume production and hopes that her efforts will make digital technologies more accessible to the costume community as a whole.
