Mae has costume designed over 30 productions around Southern Arizona. She enjoys focusing on details, and diving in to research, be it on a historical period, or something more out of the box.

Mae has won numerous awards, including the annual Arizona State & National Make it With Wool Competitions, with which she has won six titles. She won the National Needlework Award three years, and placed second two others.

She also enjoys scholarship and academia, and has been a winner and two time finalist of the University of Arizona School of Theatre's Undergraduate Research Symposium. Mae is specifically interested in the history of Theatrical Costume Design as an industry, and hopes to continue her research in this field in the future.

She graduated from the University of Arizona Summa Cum Laude, in December 2020, with a B.F.A. in Theatrical Design with an emphasis in Costume Design. She is now an M.F.A Candidate at Purdue University studying Costume Design.
